Vacuum breakers

A vacuum breaker or vacuum vent valve protects containers, pipeline systems or tanks from negative pressure through targeted ventilation and thus prevents damage such as deformation and contraction. For this purpose, the vacuum ventilator constantly compares the previously defined differential value between atmospheric pressure and internal vessel pressure with the current differential pressure. If this falls below the set value, the valve opens and sucks air into the tank, container or pipeline until the pressure again reaches the desired differential value. In order for your vacuum vent valves to function reliably, you need to service them regularly and constantly keep their valve opening free of dust and contamination. Only then are you best protected against vacuum damage.
